Life-history traits models
Life history traits (LHT) are fish characteristics that affect their reproductive success: growth, length or age at stage transition, fecundity, etc. These parameters are critical in population dynamics. Since many of them depend on fish metabolism, they are expected to be strongly affected by environmental changes such as global warming.
In DIASPARA, we have developed different models to document the spatio-temporal patterns of various LHTs for the European eel and salmon. The report is available there.
