DIASPARA DIADROMOUS database (referentials and stock database)
The stock DB has been created after analysing the structure of WGEEL (eel), WGNAS (North Atlantic Salmon), and WBAST (Baltic Salmon and sea trout) working group databases. Two of those were implemented in postgresSQL, while the WGBAST data structure is made of two major excel files. This stock DB gathers all three database in a single structure, with a triple objective : - minimal disruption of the working group working flow, i.e. so keep the database a close as possible to their initial states, but use of common structure and vocabularies. - unify databases, to allow the use of common structures. This will help people to work in several working groups, to develop shiny and R app with common bases, and to help the integration of these databases in ICES with minimal work. - Allow the integration with DATSU and the transparent assessment framework TAF.
